I received this beautiful new drop spindle for Christmas and immediately had to take it for a test spin. I’ve had a small piece of mottled fiber hanging around since I picked it up at Yarndale and though that would be a good first run. The spindle spins beautifully. Sadly, the mottled fiber looks much more interesting beforehand. The yarn I’ve managed to spin from it looks very dull in comparison.
