I dropped my USB key and the plastic loop that allows me to put it on my keyring fell off and broke. 🙁
The key itself is still perfectly capable of storing data. I just couldn’t attach it to my keyring. So… I fixed it … like this.
Step 1: Cast on 6 stitches and cable stitch until you have a piece of knitting long enough.
Step 2: Thread the strip of knitting through the hole and through a split key ring and sew the ends together.
Step 3: Neaten any trailing threads.
Step 4: Attach to your keyring.
