Blythe Knee Socks – Knitting Pattern

Blythe knee socks knitting pattern.

This pattern is pretty much a longer version of the existing pattern Sweet socks for Blythe by Jane Pierrepont


C1 = colour 1 (Black), C2 = colour 2 (Red)

Using 2mm needles and 2 ply or fine 3ply yarn cast on 14sts in C1.
Work K1, P1 rib for 4 rows.
Switch to C2
Stocking stitch 30 rows.
Switch back to C1
Stocking stitch 5 rows.
Row 40: slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over, knit 10, knit 2 together.
Row 41: purl.
Row 42: slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over, knit 8, knit 2 together.
Row 43: purl.
Row 44: slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over, knit 6, knit 2 together.
Row 45: purl.
Row 46: slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over, knit 4, knit 2 together.
Row 49: purl.
Cast off last 6 stitches.

Fold in half and oversew seam together. Turn right side out and decorate as preferred. I used some tiny heart buttons that I made at home from glitter Fimo. Repeat for second sock.
